We are planning to screen the documentary Meat the Truth at CED (Center for Education and Documentation) in association with FIAPO (Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organisations), IYCN (Indian Youth Climate Network) and 350.org
350.org is an international campaign dedicated to building a movement to unite the world around solutions to the climate crisis--the solutions that science and justice demand. October 24 is the International Day of Climate Action for which actions have been confirmed in about 135 countries so far and the list is only growing

Athough such films have convincingly succeeded in drawing public attention to the issue of global warming, they have repeatedly ignored one of the most important causes of climate change, namely: intensive livestock production.
This documentary has drawn attention to this by demonstrating that livestock farming generates more greenhouse gas emissions worldwide than all cars, lorries, trains, boats and planes added together. We also intend to have a discussion after the screening.
Light vegan snacks & tea will be served.
